How do I remove an embedded file from Power Point

I want to remove an embedded WAV file to reduce my file size, and do not know
how to do it. Can anyone help?

2 steps. One, make sure that fast saves is turned off. Two, delete the
sound icon (or remove the sound from the animation/transition).
