how do I remove an operand

Everytime I try to type what I want in the field a pop up comes up and says
The Experession you Entered contains Invalid Syntax.

You may have entered an operandd without an operator.

Please help

As you have posted this question to a TablesdbDesign newsgroup and you
cannot enter expressions into a table field, I would suggest you
repost to the correct newsgroup (perhaps
Microsoft.Public.Access.Forms), or at the very least tell us what you
are trying to enter, as well as the field's datatype, etc.
Crystal balls always take off early Fridays.
