How do I remove "draft" from a document (it's not a watermark)?

I'm working a document that has the word "draft" in the background. I've
gone into background and chosen "no fill" and gone into printed watermark and
chose "no watermark". It's still there.

Click on "View", then click on "Header and Footer". It's probably been
inserted as WordArt in either the header or footer. Suggest viewing Whole
Page so you can see the object, then simply delete the object and when you
exit Header and Footer it should be gone.
