how do I remove duplicate emails?

For some reason Outlook spent an hour redownloading all old messages, giving
me duplicates. How can I remove the duplicates (2000+)?

Add the last modified date field to the view and sort by it. The ones
redownloaded will have the same date. Or use one of the tools at

Or if you go into customize views you can choose to sort by none, and
the dupes that came in may all be together.
