How do I remove last pg # from 12 pg Newsletter publication?

I am creating the monthly newsletter for the church I work at. I have
selected a Newsletter template from Publisher 2003. It automatically numbers
the pages. This is good. It leaves the first page blank and starts the
numbering on page 2. I have 12 pages. I need for the page number on page 12
to not show. I have tried and tried to remove it but when I do all the page
numbers are removed. Any suggestions out there?
Thanks so much.

You could just put an unbordered text box over the page number so that it
doesn't show.

Thanks, I really thought I had tried that since I use text boxes all the
time. It worked. Before I got the reply from you I finally figured out
another way by opening up the document and right clicking on the page number
that views in the bottom left of the screen. Then I click insert section and
check mark the appropriates boxes. It works but your way is much faster.
Thank you,

It's very easy to do. If you have your page numbering, etc set up on a master
page, just turn to page 12 of your newsletter and choose Edit/ignore master.

I also do a church newsletter, and I actually created a master page just for
the back cover. The church information, staff, etc always stays the same so
if it's all on the master page, I don't have to change anything. You can
ignore master for any page in the publication, like if you include a
calendar, etc that takes up more room on the page.

Do you put your newsletter on the church website? It would be fun to see
what all you include.

Oh Boy...Thank you! I could not figure out how to do that. I made it work via
a "work around." That is what a teacher told me once when I couldn't figure
out how to do something. I'd always make it work though.
This is great. I was able to ignore the Master. So simple.
We don't have the Newsletter publicized online yet. Just via snail mail. I
will be glad to mail you one. And you can mail me one of yours. Ours is
hitting the mail on Tuesday. Only about 5 days late.
E-mail me your address to (e-mail address removed).
I will e-mail you back mine.
Thanks so much and have a great day.
