How do I remove MSPaper?

I am having lots of trouble in trying to open images sent in program
MSPaper.(Tiff* images)
1./ can this be removed from XP ?
2./ Do I have to get this program to open images??

Hi Ted,

MS Paper is the original name of MS Office Document Imaging. You can use the Office XP choice in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows
control panel to set that optional feature to 'Not Available' to uninstall it.

Hi Bob.

Ok,if it cannot be removed can it be "unset" as the default viewer??

Here is what is happening:-
When I receive a image (as an attachment) and got to open it/them I get a
window that pops up saying "open with default appliciation (MSPaper)"
When I click OK,I then get another window with the words "FILE
CONVERSION",Windows Default.
Then ALL I get is a full page(s) of nothing but alphabetical symbols.
So the page/image is totally unviewable.

I can possible take a picture & put it on the forum if you want it to see
what I am talking about
