How do I remove My Documents from task bar?

Somehow all of My Documents is on the task bar across the bottom. It takes
foreverr for my computer to start. How do I remove them from the Task Bar.
I have looked everywhere. Janice

I need to tell you I have Windows XP Home edition and Microsoft Office 2003.

R-click the taskbar, (click "Unlock" if necessary), click Toolbars,
UNcheck "My Documents". This is not an Office feature, and would usually
be asked in the group for your operating system.
