How do I remove red eye from photos of pets?

You know how pet eyes often appear blue or grey in photos? I'm looking for a
way to remove these. Any thoughts?

A picture editor works well.. Adobe Phtoshop, Serif PhotoPlus, Arcsoft
PhotoStudio, Paint Shop Pro are examples of the type.. if you have a
scanner, more than likely you have a program that will do it.. this also
applies if you have a digital camera..
