How do I remove the editing marks from my emails?

My emails (for a few weeks now) are filled with the editing codes. How do I
remove them so that all I can see is the text?

Sounds like you are using Microsoft Word as your editor.

Try opening Word
Select the TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS
On the VIEW tab:
Remove the check mark next to FIELD CODES

in Outlook 2007 , if that is what you are using, under the "Format Text" tab,
the 3rd group from the left, top row, last icon is the "hide/show editing
marks" tuggle switch.

However, there is a bug in the Outlook 2007 "hide/show editing marks". It
might not remove all the codes on the display screen.
