How do I Remove the Paragraph Symbol for Word Documents?

The Paragraph Symbol Just appeared in my word Documents. (I know I must have
or someone using my computermust have done something to set it to show) I do
not know how to remove it. I find it very distracting and would like to
remove it Can anyone HELP?

Click on the ­­¶ button on your tool bar. If it's not there, try, Tools -
Options - Formatting marks. Clear it and POOF! (Personally, I can't work
without them.)
