How do I remove the red broken lines or "neon highlight" rrom doc.

I have little broken red lines surrounding every sentence or text in my
document. I don't know what I done to cause this "neon effect" of
highlighten, but I want to remove it. How do I remove this effect?

Select all the text. Go to Format > Font. Click the Text Effects tab
and select None.

Mr. Freedman, thank you very much for your solution. Word 2007 has "Moved My
Cheese" sort of speak, but I'm slowly locating the places where it is hidden.
