How do I repair calendar 2002- I can't set up new appointmetns. .

I have Outlook 2002 - Office XP and when I try and enter a new appointment I
get the message out of memory or system resources.
I have tried setting up new appointments with NO Other programs running, but
still get this message.
I even tried to delete all of office XP and reinstall but still getting
this message, please tell me how to fix this problem and I tried doing a
repair using outlook and it didn't fix it either
