Hello

Not absolutely sure what you need but this may help.

I presume that wou have an Excel workbook open, and that
it has a number of worksheets in it. Each worksheet has
the same 'page setup'. When you insert a new worksheet
you want that new worksheet to look exactly the same as
the others, except that you may add different data to it.

Assuming so far so good...

You need to set up a template worksheet. So open up a
blank Excel workbook and take a worksheet and set it up
as you would like. Now choose <File><Save As> and in the
dialog box <Save As Type> at the bottom select
<Template>. In the box <File Name> just above
type "Sheet". (quotation marks not require). Click <Save>.

Ok, almost there. Close the Excel workbook and now re-
open your Excel workbook that you work with regularly. To
insert a new worksheet that is to your preferred 'set-
up', select <File><New> and this should automatically
bring up a new menu to the right of the Excel screen.
Here select <General templates...> and you should see an
icon there entitled "Sheet". Double Click the icon and a
new worksheet will be inserted into your workbook.

I hope this doesn't seem complicated. Once the template
is set up then it is plain sailing and you will soon see
the time saving benefits.

I hope this helps. I will check back later if you need
any more help.

Regards

Alex

Hi

When you have a sheet ready, you want to be new sheets to be like,
right-click on sheet tab, select 'Move or copy...' from dropdown list, check
the 'Create a copy' checkbox, and press OK. Rename newly created worksheet.
When you had any data on original sheet, you don't need on new sheets, clear
them from there (use ClearContents, not Delete!).

When you foresee that you need to add new sheets in future too, then you can
leave one such sheet without data in your workbook - you can hide it until
you need it in future.
