how do i restore an old picture

i have a very old black & white photograph. a white line runs across it, as
if it was torn from there of got folded. i want to remove that white line to
print the picture.

for a listing of all Microsoft newsgroups.

It sounds as though you don't actually have photo editing software.

I'd suggest taking the picture to a reputable photo shop and see if they
can re-touch the photo and print it for you.
