How do i restore my original microsof office professional(words)

Hello, hope you can help me with this technical problem I encounterd with my
laptop.After downloading some files, I discovered later that my office
professional(words) was no longer functioning as it should. When I click the
icon on my desktop, the logo flashes on the screen and gives way to a message
that says an error occurred and this feature is no longer funtioning
properly. Please run set up and select repair to restore installation.

Can you explain further, please?

Hi Victona,

The problem can come from several things.

You may need to run a repair/reinstall from the Microsoft Office Professional listing in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control
panel as the first step. (You'll need your Office Pro CD).

What type of files/programs did you download, install, run?
