How do I retract emails I already sent in Outlook?

I've inadvertently sent an email to a recipient that it is not intended for
and would like to retract/delete it from the recipient's mailbox. Is this
possible?

Yes and no.

Go to your sent items, click on Action, and Recall this message. This
will send a REQUEST to recall the message.

Request - meaning the recipient can ignore your request, and read /
see / keep the message anyway.
