How do I retrieve back my emails?

My harddisk recently crashed and when i reconfigure my outlook on another
laptop, all my older emails and contacts are gone. Is there any way i can get
them back?
I am using pop3

They're on the old, crashed disk drive. If you can install that drive as a
slave in the second PC, it may work well enough for you to retrieve the
data. If not, you're screwed.

depends what you mean by hd crashed, if it is still readable then the data
is recoverable
