How do I retrieve emails after reinstall of XP SP2

I posted this query yesterday.Notified that there were replies but when
clicked on link nothing happened.Had to reinstall XP.Hope to be able to
retireve emails and contacts from Outlook. It is possible? Can't seem to find
any way.

If your PST file was in the default location, a repair install of XP has
probably deleted it. have you got a backup? (If not why not? Rule No 1 of
computing - backup, backup, backup)

Depends how you installed winxp,
If it was a clean install to the same partition your old data is gone, other
than what you had backed up to external media.
If it was a repair installation your data is still there, search to include
hidden for *.pst
