How do I retrieve my contacts after re-install of outlook 2002?

I needed to re-install MSOffice Professional - when I did that I lost my
contacts in Outlook. How do I retrieve them - are they gone forever?

Your data is still there. The file you need is your Personal Folders file
(*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
