How do I retrieve my product key?

Hello,

I am planning performing a full system restore on my computer to restore it
to the origional condition. I have backed up all of my personal information.
My concern is that I can not find my product key for Office 2003. I assume
that after I reinstall and run Office that I will be asked for my product key
again. Is there a way I can find what my key was? I looked under the
“About†and found my Product ID, but that’s not the product key. Please help
me! It has to be somewhere!

NickJano,
Your product key code is your access to activation. The cd(s) used to
install Office requires this information. Key codes are not included on your
installation cd(s) and must be kept on file by the user as a separate item to
ensure that the software is not pirated. See this article:
