How do I reverse letters so I can transfer print to an object?

Previously in word 2000 I simply selected properties-t shirt transfer and I
was able to print my words in mirror image. That doesn't work in word 2003.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a new procedure?

Unless you have changed printers or printer drivers, the printer Properties
should be unchanged.
