How do I revert to my original Office program? Trial expired.

I signed up for a trial of Office 2003 and it has expired. I cannot revert
to my original program. My CD/ROM isn't working so I can't put the software
in by CD. Any suggestions?

Well, you'll need to replace your non-working CD drive
in order to use the CD that contains your previous Office
program...

You shouldn't have used the trial version if you weren't going to buy it.
(Sorry - that's my personal opinion.)

You need to uninstall the trial but you may have to reinstall your original
version - and for that you need your disk drive to work.

You will need to buy an external USB CD drive to get your old Office XP.

When you installed the trial version (about 30 days ago) did you get an
option to retain the old version? If so then you might be able to
uninstall Office 2003 from the Control Panel, ADD/REMOVE Office 2003.

See if this works otherwise, you will need a new Cd drive (USB) for
about $30 (basic version).
