How do I rotate an Excel Object in Word without changing the page.

I have embedded a linked object (Excel page as a Picture) in my Word
document. I would like to retain my portrait layout of the entire document,
but just rotate the excel sheet.

Which version of Word?

Exactly which steps did you use in the copy/paste process?

Have you formatted the picture with a text wrap? You can't rotate pictures
that are inline with the text.
