Apply all of the Office 97 service packs. There was a problem with
Access 97 on systems having 1GB or more of ram.

This is a know issue. If you google the error you will find lots of site
with the fix. Better yet, go to Microsoft directly. Take allok at:

Trouble is searching has become a lot more difficult later with Google
indexing so many online forums that are mirrors of the NNTP
newsgroups. This means that the same, sometimes wrong or useless,
answer gets duplicated many times.
