how do I save a template to a disk?

I do not have internet access at home and would like to save a powerpoint
presentation backgroud to put on my home pc. I cannot seem to find an option
to do this. Nor can I find where the template is saved on the computer I am
on.

find out where they're stored. Then go there and copy the .POT file to your
floppy or CD.
