How do I save my contact header view as my default?

I change the "Current view" and get the fields I need in the order I want.
But everyutime I go out and back in it has reset to the initial Microsoft
seting.

Well this is devilish MS. I spent hours to find solution, however
easy.
Instead of changing curent view, make a new custom view based on the
current view, starting to give a new name. Now when you got a new
view, you can modify it, it will keep the modifications you make.
