how do I save two pictures (jpegs), grouped, to one single jpeg?

I have two photos, that I have combined both in Word and Powerpoint (they
overlap each other with frames). How do I then save that NEW picture as 1
single picture (jpeg)? Any advice greatly appreciated. :)

Ideally you would use a photo editing program but you can do it in
PowerPoint. Click on your pictures to select them, right click - select Save
As Picture.

Thank you, JoAnn. But I've already tried this in PowerPoint. The problem is
that I have two overlapping pics, and I need to make them only 1 pic. If I
try to save...it will only save that one photo...not both together. How do I
put a drawing canvas around it to save it as one pic? Thank you again! :)

Drag across both pictures so both have "drag handles" on the corners. Right
click on one picture and then left click Group.

Now save as Picture and you should be set.
