how do i search for a particular slide by its number

Michael's advice works in Slide show mode. And it is really the easiest way
to do it, even if you want to edit the slide. Edit the file, run the show.
Type the number and enter. Press escape on your keyboard. Voila - there you
are on the slide.

Thanks Kathy. I just assumed they were in the Slideshow mode. As you know,
if in the edit mode,outline view, just click on the slide number. don't get
any easier than that. <g>
