How do I search multi files for a certain number

I have been given the task of finding a contract that a previous employee
made on my computer. All I was given was the name of the contract and the
value of the contract. Alas if I do a search for the general name of the
contract I literaly get over a hundered files and folders that match the name
of the contract. So is there some way to search inside the files for a
specific number?

Based on the lack of info you provided about the software and operating
system you are using, I recommend you download "Agent Ransack" from the
internet and use that to search.
