How do I select the file location for sent messages?

When I send a message I want to select the file location or delete the sent
message rather than have everyting go to the sent file. Too much accumulates
in the sent file.

I don't think you can do it on a selective basis - it's either all or
nothing. Why not just clear out the Sent folder on a regular basis? You can
do this using the Autoarchive feature...
