How do I send a reply from a message that is in an offline folder

I store many emails from business clients in offline folders. In the past, if
I wanted to reply to a specific email that was in on offline folder, I hit
reply, wrote my response and hit send and it would send directly. There would
be a message in my sent items to confirm. Somewhere along the line, I
realized that when I replied to an email in a folder, it came back to that
folder and there was no record of it in my sent items...I have looked
everywhere for some type of setting to fix this and am not finding any. Can
anyone shed light?

Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail options. Uncheck "In folders
other than the Inbox, save replies wiht original messages"
