I couldn't find any option to send mail in MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, or
Excel either.. how bad is that?.. however, there is an option to send mail
in Outlook, but to get the option you have to create a NEW e-mail.. having
taken that option, the SEND facility appears..

Staring at my Word XP, there is under the File menu a Send-to option.
That includes a Send To Mail Recipient option. I do have Outlook
hooked to an Exchange server in my corporate environment.

Longshot but in your Send To folder have you got a file called Mail
Recipient which is a 0kb MAPIMAIL file, also is your version of Word and
Outlook the same. If you haven't got the file you can create it in notepad
and save it as Mail Recipient.MAPIMAIL

... which opens up the mail client, where you then have to click on SEND..
opening up Outlook or Outlook Express does not automatically present the
SEND option.. I had to assume in this case as there was not exactly much to
go on..

there is no function indicating "send mail"

If you're composing an email message in Microsoft Word, try file/send
to/mail recipient

If that doesn't work, post back and let us have more details.
