How do I set a rule forward personal distribution list

M

Mr_Ron

I have Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 SP3. I want to forward messages to club
members, but I do not want to share other members email address. So I created
a rule, but when I try to assign the distribution list Outlook give me the
following error: 'Practice Team Distribution List' is a personal distribution
list that may not be used with this feature. Would you like to use the
individual members of 'Practice Team Distribution List instead? Is there
anyway around this? Is there an add-on I can purchase which will override
this problem?

You can't use DLs in rules. you can forward them manually and add the DL to
the BCC field. FWIW - forwarding to a DL with the DL in the to or cc field
will not hide the members names from each other. You need to use the BCC
field.
