how do i set a task to only be 2 hours per day?

Hi,

Then what DO you mean exactly?
Duration only 2 hrs per day and resoruce working @100%?
Then use Recurring task.

You can also create a calendar with only 2 hours a day as the working time
and assign that caledar to the task.
