How do I set a word/phrase to auto-complete when typing?

S

I am now using Vista and Office 2007. In my old XP I had Word set so that it
auto-completes common words/phrases [such as my name and address] as I typed.
How do I do this now?

If you are referring to the AutoComplete feature for *AutoText*, then you
are out of luck; it is no longer supported in Word 2007. What you can do is
type the name of an AutoText entry and then press F3 to insert it.

Alternatively, create AutoCorrect entries instead (this feature still works
the same). For example, you can have AutoCorrect replace your initials with
your full name. Do the following to access the settings for AutoCorrect:
Click the Office button, and then click Word Options. In the Proofing
category, click the AutoCorrect Options button.

The Office Button is the big button with the Office logo at the top left of
the screen (sometimes jocularly called the "pizza button."
