How do I set my laptop monitor to remain as bright when on batter

This is not an Outlook question, but maybe someone can help me:)

I went to power adjustments, but could not find where I thought I had found
before a place to select if you want max brightness, etc. when on battery.

If you go to the web site of the laptop maker, they usually have the users
manual on line or downloadable.
