How do I set number of lines per page?

I would like to set my document so that when I am in the View Print layout I
see 47 lines per page. Can you help me?

Do you mean you want 47 lines on the printed page or 47 lines on the screen?
If the former, see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/BottomLine.htm. If the
latter, you'll have to experiment with Zoom ratios till you get one that
works.
