How do I set the spacing between the "bullet" and the text?

I have a bullet list on my slide - where the spacing between the bullet and
the bullet text is too large. How do I reduce that? I seem to miss some
facilities like I have in Word for specifying the indentaion, spaces etc.

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? Display the ruler and change the
indent by dragging the lower triangle to the left.
