I have set up a new user name and password page. How do I setup a registered
user page where returning users type in their user name and password that
will be checked against the stored page to verify their user name and
password are authentic so they can gain access to restricted pages?

Doesn't the "new user name and password page" take care of that?

Will require a Database solution
- If hosted on a Windows Server that supports Access and ASP see

Okay, I use godaddy as my host. they have frontpage server extensions
installed. I do not have Access, can I use Excel as my database? or is there
another alternative?

You can use Excel as a data source
(but it is not recommended for multiple simultaneous users)
