How do I set up a Thing To Do Spreadsheet?

I'd like an effective things to do spreasheet layout that you have found
useful. I recently graduated from college and started working and now I feel
like there is not enough time in the day. Maybe it's because I was a
procrastinator in college, but I always feel like I am puting things behind.
Please help.
