How do I set up a website in localhost root? I need virtual includes

L

Larry Woods

When I try to setup a web site in FP it insists on a folder name. I can't
setup a website in my root. Therefore I can't use "#include virtual"

How do I do this?

TIA,

Larry Woods

Re: How do I set up a website in localhost root? I need virtual includesYou can actually use http://localhost, http://computername, or http://127.0.0.1. The 127.0.0.1 is the loopback address and always points to the local machine. The localhost address resolves to 127.0.0.1 via the HOSTS file.

Re: How do I set up a website in localhost root? I need virtual includesIt may work for you, Jim, but I tried 'http://localhost" and it INSISTED that I add a lower level folder!
