how do I set up an automated response when I do not know who will.

I want to send a recieved notification message back to the user every time
they send me a question. I can set up a rule and use a mail.oft response but
it requires the name of the person to whom it will be sent. The problem is
that I want the mail to go to whoever it is that the sent me the message, and
I will not know who that person is until they send me the message in the
first place.

Is there any way to automate this so that the name is automatically put in
the to box and sent?
