Hi,
I am trying to get different nav bar links on different pages, so child
level on the home page and same level on other pages. How can I do this
shared borders seem to prevent this.

Help...

Don't use Shared Borders, as the name implies they are shared between all pages where you have them
enabled.

Whatever is in the shared border page will be displayed on all pages using the specific shared
border. You can't have different content for different pages, when using shared borders.

Yes. Didn't read the OP too well. Need new specs.
Anyway, It can be done by creating subwebs and having different themes (or
different versions of themes) in each. You might want to write down what
you want to do because it can get crazy after awhile.

Remove the shared border from the Home page only, and replace it a copy of
the border, with the nav bar properties set to Children under home.
