how do i set up outlook with cable provider?

switched from dial up to cable modem. lost ability to use outlook. how do i
reconfigure connection to recognize cable modem?

Outlook neither knows nor cares how you connect to the Internet. Follow the
instructions provided by your cable provider.

You amend the Account settings, if you cannot open Outlook, use the mail
applet in the control panel
