Hello,

I have looked for MIME types which to form in my corporate firewall but no
works... If I configure my laptop with direct access to Internet, the Outlook
Connector synchronizes correctly...

P.D: I have Microsoft Office Outlook Connector (12.0.4518.1068) installed
with Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 SP3.

Any help is appreciated,
Richard !!!

MIME types have nothing to do with firewalls. You need IP addresses and
port numbers. You need to tell the firewall that Outlook is always trusted
or you need to tell it that any access to the Windows Live server IP address
is allowed. I don't know what port to specify.

One might think that the logs on a firewall would register that some application
tried to get out on a particular port at the same time you tried to use the
Outlook Connector which would let you know what ports were trying to be used.....

Perhaps. =)

Depends on whether notification is enabled in the firewall, I would think.

In order to make the suggested tests, I form my laptop with an alternating
exit which registry in the LOG the following directions.
Request: login.live.com:443
Request: http://config.messenger.msn.com/
Request: http://mail.services.live.com/
Request: http://64.4.48.126/
Request: http://contacts.msn.com/
Request: http://dav.calendar.msn.com/
Request: contacts.msn.com:443

But when putting my laptop by the exit of the ISAServer the Outlook
Connector does not work. I have understood Hotmail has many servants and by
BALANCING questions the servants are many who can answer at the time of the
request...

It is why I walk looking for a HTTP Content like by example the one of the
Messenger ("application/x-msn-messenger")

My Hotmail account has http://servcies.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp as
the server URL. I don't believe it's using the HTTPS port 443.
