Hi
How do I setup outlook so that I can pickup my e-mail on both my
desktop & laptop

At present if I collect my e-mail on my laptop it is no longer
available on the desktop and vice versa

In advanced settings I have leave a copy of message on server for 21
days, but that doesn't make any difference

Using Outlook 2007

That's the option, but you set that option on both systems and note that it
only works for newly received messages.

If the option is set on both systems and it is still removing it from the
server, it's very likely that you have an anti-malware suite installed that
integrates with Outlook and ignores this setting. Disable its integration
with Outlook and try again.

I'll try the imap settings & see how I get on
As I write I have the desktop setup

I got detailed setup instructions from my ISP

I got detailed setup instructions from my ISP

You can't just "try" the IMAP settings. Your ISP must support IMAP or you
can't use that type of account. If you have instructions from your ISP,
well and good, but many (most?) ISPs don't support IMAP.
