I have a Dell home computer runnung Windows XP Professional.

It is used by several members of the familly who each have their own User Id.

We all need to use the same contacts in Microsoft outlook.

BUT we do not seem able to share the contact list and thus end up with
maintaining several lists with duplicate entries.

What is the secret?

Contacts aren't kept in a file separate from the rest of your Outlook items.
All Outlook items (calendar, contacts, tasks, email, etc.) are all in the
PST.

Something to try would be to create a new PST in the Shared Documents folder
tree, make it a part of each user's mail profile, move the common Contacts
to it. Enabling it as an Outlook Address Book (and, perhaps, having the
Address Book service examine it first) may be as close as you can get.

Thanks for the tips.

I will try them and see if I can get it to work.

I would imagine that many other users would have similar problems and that a
very simple trick is being missed ... but I have tried everything I can think
of.

many thanke
