how do i sign using microsoft word 2003?

Just wanted to use ms word to create or draw a signature for a form that i
downloaded online which needs to be sent afterwards.

The usual approach is to sign a piece of paper, scan the signature as a
graphic, save it in some graphics format, and insert it as a picture.
