How do I sort e-mails by sender and then by date?

I want to be able to sort e-mails by sender, which I can do, and then, at the
same time, have the e-mails by one sender arranged in chronological order
according to date sent.

One of the ways you can group mail items in OL2003 is just what you're
mentioning. If you group by From, the messages are sorted by date within the
group

Thanks for your response. Actually, the question is about Outlook Express,
and when I sort by "from," the messages are NOT sorted by date within the
group. I think they used to be, but now they're not--they're just in random
order by date. Maybe I shouldn't have posted to this forum, but I couldn't
find Outlook Express forum.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

Thank you, Milly. I had only posted here because I couldn't find a listing
for Outlook Express, but your telling me it is part of Internet Explorer
made it possible for me to find where I could post a question about OE.
