Outlook 2010 imported emails from Windows mail - No sender emailaddress available

I recently purchased Outlook 2010 and successfully imported my emails and contacts from Windows Live Mail. But when I select an imported email, the sender's name or email address (depending on how the sender is identified) isnot linked to a formatted email address.

So left or right clicking on the name of the sender in the header of the email (if its in name format) or the actual email address (if its an email address) is not recognized by outlook as a 'formatted' email address that I could select and then add to my outlook contacts. I can't even reply to one of these imported emails if the sender is identified by actual name rather than email address unless I can find the email address somewhere in the body of the email.

Did I import the emails incorrectly?
